Deborah connects breath work with anatomy (especially diaphragm, fascia) and nervous system regulation

This workshop is for anyone but especially people dealing with pain or chronic conditions, anyone wanting to deepen the body-breath connection.

The workshop offers step‑by‑step techniques and practices around breathing, movement, rolling (self‑massage).

The Benefits of "Body by Breath":

  • Improve stress resilience and nervous system regulation. 
By using breath as a tool to shift between states (more calm vs more arousal)
  • Enhance mobility, movement, and relieve chronic tension. 
It emphasises the role of fascia, diaphragm mechanics, and how breathing is not just about the lungs, but the whole body including ribs, torso.
  • Aid in pain relief, injury recovery, or chronic conditions.
By improving movement, restoring breathing patterns, and releasing fascial restrictions.
  • Support emotional and mental health 
through self‑regulation, deeper interoceptive awareness (feeling inside the body), restoring balance between activation and rest.

Workshop and event bookings are non-refundable. If you can no longer make it, and you let us know with at least 48 hours notice, we will credit you by way of an account balance that you can use towards future purchases or bookings.

You may wish to bring a bottle of water with you. Mats and props are provided, but you're welcome to bring your own.

We have a no mobile phone policy in class and we remove shoes before entering the main studio. Barefoot is best but you are welcome to wear socks.

Deborah Wilks is a yoga teacher and Assisted stretch fascia-focused personal trainer known for her holistic approach to movement and wellbeing. Combining mindful yoga practices with targeted fascial stretching techniques, she helps clients improve mobility, reduce pain, and build strength from the inside out.

With a passion for functional movement and body awareness, Deborah empowers individuals to reconnect with their bodies and create sustainable, long-term wellness habits.
