Deepen your Practice: Backbends

with Natalie Allen

Description

Go beyond the mat. Explore, challenge, and expand your practice.

Are you ready to take your yoga practice to the next level?

Yes, yoga is more than just movement, but by deepening into the physical, we open a powerful doorway to self-awareness, growth and transformation. These workshops will give you the space to do just that.

✨ What to Expect

This session begins with a strong, progressive flow to warm the body, build heat, and prepare you physically. Then, we will move into a focused exploration of more complex postures.

Rather than rushing toward a "peak pose," we'll break things down, looking at alignment, options, transitions, and personal variations, with plenty of room for questions, experimentation, rest, and play.

This is not about what a pose looks like.

It's about how it feels, what it teaches you about your body, and how you can move with greater awareness and ease.

You will have the opportunity to:

* Explore beyond the limits of a regular class

* Learn the foundations and techniques for poses that support your body

* Build strength, confidence, and body awareness

* Explore new movements with playfulness and support

Explore spinal movement, chest and shoulder opening, and backbends in a way that prioritises stability, breath, and nervous system support. We' will work with a variety of shapes, props, and levels to find what "opening" means in your body.

Who is this for?

This workshop is for anyone with a consistent vinyasa or flow practice who are curious to learn more, You don't need to be able to do the poses just come with an open mind and a willingness to try.

All bodies, shapes, and abilities are welcome. Modifications, props, and rest are always encouraged.

Spaces are limited to ensure a focused and personalised experience.

Meet Natalie

Teacher

My yoga journey began whilst I was travelling through India; the birth place of yoga, I was curious to what all the fuss was about and took my first ever class on a rooftop in Rajasthan.

Movement has always been a big part of my life, however yoga had me hooked from the positive effects it had on both my mind and body on and off the mat.

As I dived deeper into my yoga practice I started noticing small changes within myself... how yoga made me feel, how my perspective changed towards situations and how it set me up to make the most of my day ahead.

I decided to revisit India to complete my first Yoga training, and since taken a second training in the Magical place of Bali.

Yoga has taught me so much and I aim to share and help others experience the benefits and blissfulness that yoga has to offer.

My classes will focus on creating a deep inner awareness as we move through a fun, fluid, creative flow. Allowing you to fully embody the movement and stay present throughout.
