Are You Your Own Best Friend?

Many of us know these types of thoughts all too well: 'I'm not good enough to do that', 'They probably all think I'm stupid', 'Why can't I ever do anything right?', 'I wish I didn't look like this'... These thoughts can overwhelm and drain us, making us feel sad, lonely and angry at ourselves.

But, imagine with me now, someone who listens to all of your deepest worries and heartaches. Someone who give you a warm hug when you need it most. Someone who loves you unconditionally and accepts you for who you truly are, through everything.

This is what so many of us are craving, as human beings. A sense of true connection and deep acceptance, that can seem out of reach at times. The amazing thing is that we don't need to rely on a warm hug, listening ear, and a kind heart to come only from another person; they can all come from you. You can love and accept yourself as your own best friend.

So many of us (myself included) were not taught how to be our own best friend. If anything, we ended up doing the opposite; getting angry with ourselves, playing over our faults over and over, never allowing ourselves to feel good enough and treating our minds and bodies like a battle zone.

But what if you could be taught?
What if you could learn how to be kinder, more accepting, and gentler towards yourself?

Imagine how your life would change.

This is what our Women's Circle and Yin Yoga Workshop on Sunday 20th of February is all about!

Self love and self care practices can sometimes seem so far out of reach and we often don't know where to start.

During the Women's Circle and Yin Yoga Workshop we have made it easy for you to learn:

  • How to bring ease to your body and mind.
  • How to meditate and soften the heart.
  • Which words your inner self would love to hear.
  • How gentle touch can give you a calm and tranquil mind.
  • How to begin to love who you are.

You will also receive a Goddess card to find out the life lesson you need to incorporate at this time, and will have plenty of opportunities to journal down your 'aha!' moments and share with the circle if you wish.

After the circle, you will have the next hour with Maddy to relax and unwind in nourishing Yin Yoga postures, while heart opening Tibetan bowls and celestial chimes sound around you. It is our intention that you will leave this workshop feeling calm, renewed and with a deep feeling of love in your heart.

We can't wait to see you at the Women's Circle and Yin Yoga Workshop on Sunday 20th February! Book your space today to avoid disappointment!
