Pregnancy Pilates and Wellness

with Liz Knowles

Join Women's Health Physio and Pilates instructor Liz Knowles for a gentle yet challenging Pregnancy Pilates followed by stretch and relaxation.

Suitable from your first trimester scan until birth, this session combines gentle, effective Pilates exercises with relaxation techniques and a chance to connect with others in a calm, nurturing environment.

You can expect:

* Pregnancy Pilates including learning and practicing Pelvic Floor Awareness for pregnancy and birth (1 hour)

* Open Q and A with an experienced Women's Health Physio with refreshments and chat

* Release and Relaxation- modified stretches and breath work inviting calm aiming to leave you with a peaceful mind and body (30 minutes)

* Suitable from your first scan to birth

* No prior Pilates experience is needed

Important:Please ensure you have no medical contraindications to exercise (e.g. high-risk pregnancy, uncontrolled conditions, or complications). If you are unsure whether this class is suitable for you, please consult your midwife, GP, or obstetrician before booking.

Meet Liz


Passionate about Women's Health and exercise, Liz is a physiotherapist offering Physiotherapy and Pilates to women through Pregnancy and the Postnatal period.

She specialises in Ante and Postnatal health realising there is so much more to offer women at this vulnerable time. Qualified to assess and diagnose, Liz will provide you with hands on treatment, exercise and practical advice. Whether it be pregnancy related pain or concerns about your pelvic floor, Liz is the ideal person to see.

Registered with the Health Professional Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, Liz has an MSc in Pain and continues to develop her clinical skills through a robust portfolio of postgraduate training. Liz is also a certified Stott Pilates instructor.

When she's not working she can usually be experimenting in the kitchen with her 2 children, practicing pilates or running in the local countryside. Liz has just run the London Marathon for the charity 'Wellbeing of Women'.
