This course provides an accessible entry point to those looking to start a regular meditation practice.

This course is designed to guide you through various meditation techniques, helping you cultivate mindfulness, emotional balance, and resilience. Whether you are new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, this course provides a supportive environment to explore the transformative power of mindfulness and establish a lasting, positive impact on your daily life.

Based on the teachings of Michael Stone, with weekly sessions, interactive exercises, and pre-recorded guided meditations, you'll develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. Join me on the path to mindfulness and unlock a lifetime of inner harmony and fulfilment.

What to expect:

You'll join a friendly group of like minded individuals who'll grow and learn together

We'll meet weekly for a short talk and guided practice and the opportunity to ask any questions you might have and discuss your experiences with the practices

There will be a guided practice for you to take home each week and ideally practice daily

Practices will start short and simple 5 to 10 minutes in length and as you progress in skill and focus they will gradually lengthen to between 20 and 25 minutes

You'll finish the course with everything you need to continue to develop your own meditation practice including an established practice and a deeper understanding of meditation

6 x 45 minute face to face group classes

6 x pre-recorded audio practices

6 x videos of the class accessible from home (in case you can't make a week)

Meet Emily


The pace of life is FAST these days and it’s easy to find that you regularly show-up as someone other than the person you’d choose to be. Maybe your back was hurting. Maybe you were in a hurry. Maybe you were stressed about, work, family, health, sleep… the list just goes on and on…

That’s where I think Yoga comes in. It smoothes the sharp edges off life and opens the space for you to begin to align yourself more fully with who you consciously choose to be rather than becoming a product of circumstance.

If you’ve never tried yoga you probably have no idea what I’m talking about. And that’s ok because yoga is great for building strength and flexibility, improving balance and all the other stuff too.

Having been a Yoga student for over 20 years and having experienced the powerful impact it has on physical, mental and emotional well-being, I’m keen to share its wonders. I attained my British Wheel of Yoga Teacher Training Certificate in 2018 and completed a 500 hour Yoga Therapy Diploma with Yogacampus in 2023.

I have a degree in Philosophy and Art and love to explore the potential paradigm shifts offered through the reading of philosophical yoga texts with my students and clients. My aim is to create fun yoga experiences which allow students to experience the many transformational benefits of yoga.
