Daughters of the Sun

with Flora Marston

Somatic dance and feminine liberation women's gathering.

A space to connect to others, reconnect with yourself and express your truth. Together we access our authentic, divine feminine essence; the calm and illusive sister, the soft and creative daughter, the nurturing and sensual mother, the powerful and unapologetic goddess that resides in us all.

We will open the circle with an immersive meditation and breath-work practice, activating powerful female pathways.

We will then explore what it means to 'embody', focusing on the internal physical perception and experience of movement, releasing the stagnant and activating the dormant energy within body with this powerful ritual. We will dance, shake, howl and laugh, liberating the soma (body) from the trappings of the physical skin, society and conventional life.

This is an invitation to take up space, express yourself, be loud, be quiet, be wild, be still, there are no rules.

We will then return to the circle; to share, write and connect with our sisters. This workshop is designed for those who identify as a woman, anyBODY is welcome. Please wear loose, comfy clothing, bring with you pen and paper/journal, a warm heart and open mind.

Meet Flora

I decided to join my mum’s Yoga class during my school exams. I fell in love with the process of connecting to my spirituality, as well as my background in ballet helping me ease into the physical practice.

After dropping out of Fashion school I turned back to Yoga to calm and ground me – I decided to do my Yoga teacher training in Thailand and started teaching shortly after at a studio on the East coast of Australia.

My qualification and true love is Ashtanga Yoga, however I now teach a range of Vinyasa, Hatha, Flow and Yin.

Off the mat you can find me in the ocean or the kitchen!
