Maddy Jones and Poppy Koumis invite you to their New Year, mini day retreat, GROW.

Exploring somatic movement, energy medicine, journaling, manifestation, restorative yoga and sound healing, to guide you on a beautiful journey of self awareness, self discovery, and massive GROWTH.

Beginning in our Solar studio, you will set your intentions for the year ahead. Discover what has been holding you back from your manifestation, through meditation and journaling exercises.

Poppy will then guide you through somatic movement to release stored tension from the body, before moving into energy medicine practices. This will allow you to release these blocks physically and access your full vitality in order to be open and ready to receive.

A short midway break will allow you time to reflect, chat and enjoy some refreshments.

Moving into our cosy Lunar studio, Maddy will guide you through an eye opening manifesting workshop to begin the process of powerfully and intentionally calling in what you want for the year ahead. Followed by a soothing and relaxing restorative yoga practice, yoga Nidra mediation and sound healing, aligning the body's energetic frequency with ease and abundance, becoming an energetic match for what you want.

Expect big realisations, transformation and GROWTH! Starting the New year as the version of yourself that you want to be, to create the life you want.

Please note: this workshop is not suitable during pregnancy.

Bring a journal and pen for the journaling exercises.

Meet Maddy


What does Yoga mean to you?

Yoga to me is the ultimate self care, time to myself to switch off, reconnect & give my mind a rest from the daily overload, knowing that I’m doing the best for my body, mind and soul simultaneously.

How would you describe your style of Yoga?

My style of yoga is a mixture of dynamic flowing movement and relaxing restorative postures & practices. I make sure every one of my classes is a luxury experience, incorporating essential oils, gentle assists/ massage and engaging music to ignite the senses, allowing my students to fully immerse into the moment.

What is your favourite Yoga pose and why?

My favourite yoga pose is SAVASANA!! The juicy conclusion of a great practice and ultimate relaxation position.

An interesting/quirky fact about yourself and your experience?

I spent 3 years teaching yoga around the world, ending up assisting at the international yoga festival in India where I got the honour of meeting the Dali Lama.

Meet Poppy

Poppy has been teaching yoga for almost seven years, in studios and retreat centres in the UK and Indonesia. She taught her very first yoga class here at New Energy Yoga! Her own experience of yoga has been deeply healing and restorative for both body and mind. She teaches heart-led yoga practices with a focus on breathwork, allowing for deep releases of physical and mental tension.

Further training in yoga therapy for women’s health and somatic movement has deepened her understanding of yoga’s ability to heal. Most recently she has become a mother to Rafi and currently lives in Frome, Somerset.
