The Art Of Unwinding: Yoga For Anxiety,Tension and Overwhelm

with Poppy Koumis

Description

In a world that asks us to constantly do, think and keep up, it can be difficult to truly switch off. We carry stress in our bodies - in the jaw, shoulders, chest, belly and breath - often without even realising it.

The Art of Unwinding is an immersive somatic yoga workshop designed to help you slow down, release physical tension and create space in a busy mind.

Through a combination of gentle yoga, fascial release, somatic movement, breathwork, journaling and deep rest, we will explore ways to soften the patterns of holding and tension that can build when life feels overwhelming.

There will be space to pause and reflect through guided journaling, helping you to tune in to what your body and mind might be asking for.

This is a space to step out of your head and back into your body - to slow down, breathe, release and reconnect with a sense of ease.

Come as you are. Leave feeling softer, lighter and more grounded.

Please bring a notebook and pen for the journaling practice.

Please note, this workshop is not suitable during pregnancy.
