Finding Happiness

During the past year due to COVID-19 there has been fear, negativity, loneliness, anxiety, anger, stress and yet we have coped.

We accepted what was happening and for many of us, the way forward to coping was finding out more about ourselves, getting to know ourselves on a deeper level. Who would believe that many of us tackled new technology, learnt new hobbies, cleaned every single cupboard and drawer?

But did you know you were working with your Sacral Chakra?

This chakra located just below the navel is the chakra of creativity and pleasure.

Finding our pleasure in nature walks, time to read, time to create and sometimes just sitting and contemplating. Clearing out old habits and beginning fresh new starts.

We have been caring and compassionate and looked after our families, friends, and strangers too.

And the reward is hopefully a deep sense of happiness within us, a contentment, and an inner sense of peace.

We have followed the five simple rules of happiness

  1. Free your heart from hatred.
  2. Free your mind from worries.
  3. Live simply.
  4. Give more.
  5. Expect less.

Happiness is within us, let go of negativity and replace with positivity

“Every day think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it.

I am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings.

I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am not going to get angry or think badly about others.

I am going to benefit others as much as I can.” ― The Dalai Lama

Daphne is offering a workshop in February working with the Sacral Chakra. The Restorative Hip Openers, chocolate meditation and Prosecco. Head to our workshops to find out more.
