A wonderful way to start the week Monday at 7:45pm with Daphne Bath.
Learn the art of true relaxation, soothe away stress and prepare for the week ahead with Yoga Nidra. Daphne’s class will begin with 45 minutes of Yin Yoga opening up the body, gaining flexibility and rejuvenating the body, then proceed to deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra Conscious relaxation for the body and the mind.
What is Yoga Nidra and why is it so beneficial?
Learning how to relax deeply will help you live your healthiest and happiest life. The miracle of Yoga Nidra will take you on a journey to rest and recovery.
The practice is usually done laying down. At the beginning and the end, you are asked to repeat an intention (Sankalpa). This is a positive statement such as, “I am enough”. This is very powerful, as this intention will imprint on the subconscious mind. Throughout the practice you will be made aware of different parts of your body using visualisation.
Through these physiological changes it helps calm the parasympathetic nervous system and helps you feel calm and in control. Those that suffer with stress, anxiety, panic attacks, arthritis, headaches, addictions, eating disorders, worry or anger will benefit from Yoga Nidra. Overall, it will help change your self-awareness, productivity and wellbeing.
Enjoy life to the fullest and see the benefits for yourself!
